Randall Oliphant
Executive Chairman


Executive Chairman of Silver Bear, is also Executive Chairman of New Gold Inc. and is on the Advisory Board of Metalmark Capital LLC (formerly Morgan Stanley Capital Partners) and serves on the boards of directors of Franco-Nevada Corporation and WesternZagros Resources Ltd. Since 2003, Mr. Oliphant has served on the boards of a number of public and private companies and not-for-profit organizations. From March 1999 to February 2003, he was the President and CEO of Barrick Gold Corporation, and from February 2006 to May 2009, he was the Chairman of Western Goldfields Inc. Mr. Oliphant is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

 
Andrey Tseshinskiy
Director and Representative from Alfa Group, Silver Bear Resources' largest shareholder.


Mr. Andrey Tseshinskiy is a Director with A1 Investment Group. Having been a Chief Financial Officer and previous Senior Business Analyst, Mr. Tseshinskiy has worked within the Alfa Group companies since 2001. He holds a PhD from the Ivanovo State Power Engineering University and an MBA from INSEAD.

 
Stan Bharti
Director


Mr. Bharti is the President of Forbes & Manhattan, Inc., a private merchant bank operating in Canada, the United States and Western Europe. From February 2002 to April 2006, he was Chairman and a director of Desert Sun Mining Corp., a Toronto Stock Exchange-listed mining company which was acquired by Yamana Gold Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in operations, public markets and finance. Mr. Bharti is also a director of several other public and private companies.

 
William J. Biggar
Director


Mr. Biggar is a Corporate Director. From 2004 to 2007 he was Managing Director of Richardson Capital Limited. From 2003 to 2004 Mr. Biggar was President and Chief Executive Officer of MI Developments Inc. and from 2001 to 2003, Executive Vice-President, office of the CEO of Magna International Inc. Prior to that time Mr. Biggar was Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Cambridge Shopping Centres Limited from 1999 to 2001 and Senior Vice-President, Investments of Barrick Gold Corporation from 1996 to 1999. Mr. Biggar is a trustee of Primaris Retail REIT and a director of Manitou Capital Corporation. Mr. Biggar became a Chartered Accountant while working at what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers and also holds Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Toronto.

 
J. Trevor Eyton, O.C.
Director


Non Executive Chairman and director of Silver Bear. The Honourable J. Trevor Eyton is a former member of the Senate of Canada. Between 1979 and 1990, Senator Eyton served as President and CEO and between 1990 and 1998 as Chairman and Senior Chairman of Brascan Ltd. (now known as Brookfield Asset Management Inc). Senator Eyton has also served on the boards of directors of numerous public and private companies, the United States and Europe, including Noranda Inc. Since May 2000, Senator Eyton has served as Chairman and a director of Ivernia Inc. Senator Eyton is also the Chairman of the recently-created Canada-Russia Roundtable, designed to further promote bilateral economic relations. Senator Eyton has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Victoria College, University of Toronto and a Doctor in Jurisprudence degree from the University of Toronto Law School.

 
Dominic Gualtieri
Director


Mr. Gualtieri was previously Head of Equities and a Managing Director of Alfa-Bank, Russia's largest privately-owned bank. He was responsible for the Bank's equity brokerage and distribution through its international offices in London, New York, Kiev and Nicosia as well as for leading the sales and trading teams in Moscow. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Gualtieri was Group Managing Director of Franklin Templeton Asset Management in South Africa and previously headed Templeton's Moscow office. Mr. Gualtieri is licensed by the FSFM as an asset manager. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of RTS. Mr. Gualtieri holds an MA in Economics from the University of Toronto and was twice awarded the Simcoe Fellowship for academic achievement.

 
Mark Trevisiol
President and Chief Executive Officer, Director


Mr. Trevisiol has over 21 years of management experience in the base metals industry, the majority of which have been spent specifically in the nickel sector. Between August 2009 and December 2010, Mr. Trevisiol acted as Chief Executive Officer of Crowflight Minerals. Prior to joining Crowflight, Mr. Trevisiol was Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Mines, where he was responsible for their mining and milling operations in Timmins, Ontario. Formerly General Manager of Business Development & Strategy of Xstrata Nickel Sudbury Operations, Mr. Trevisiol spent 18 years with Falconbridge Ltd in various roles, including General Manager of the Sudbury Smelter business unit, Production Manager of the Sudbury smelter and Superintendant of the Kidd Creek operations. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and is also currently the President and CEO of Auger Resources Inc., a private exploration company.

 
Christopher Westdal
Director


Mr. Westdal is a former Canadian diplomat with 21 years of experience in the field, sixteen heading Canadian Embassies, High Commissions and international delegations. Mr. Westdal was Ambassador to Russia (2003 to 2006), the United Nations in Geneva (1999 2003), Ukraine (1995 to 1998), South Africa (1991 to 1993), Bangladesh and Burma (1982 to 1985). Prior assignments abroad included India and Nepal (from 1973 to 1975), responsible for Canadian International Development Agency ("CIDA") programming and Tanzania from 1970 to 1973, as a member of University of Toronto economic advisory team. In Ottawa, he was Director General of the Foreign Ministry's International Organizations Bureau from 1987 to 1991, Assistant Secretary at the Privy Council Office to the Cabinet Committee on Foreign Policy and Defence (1976-78, 1985-87), and CIDA Regional Director of East Africa from 1978 to 1982. Mr. Westdal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Johns College and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Manitoba.
